UPDATE: April 20, 2008
Rough survey for the Makuu to Paradise portion of 22nd Avenue was accomplished on 3/31 and 4/1 2008. Mobilization of grading equipment took place on 4/9 and clearing and shaping of roadway commenced 4/10 to 4/16. Base rock and final shaping of the roadway will take place starting 4/21 with expectations of paving to begin 4/23,24 or 25.
UPDATE: May 20, 2008
The completion
of the Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) application portion was completed on 5/1/2008 with
gravel installation at the shoulder and clean up of right of way through
5/7/2008.
Clearing and grubbing was
started on 5/8/2008 and continued through 5/13/2008 when a preliminary
evaluation of areas of concern were identified for installation of larger base
material were to be applied. Installation of final base application started on
5/19/2008 to achieve shaping of the right of way and acceptance by the Civil
Engineer before proceeding with the application of the HMA. Application of the
HMA is projected to start between 5/22/2008 and 5/27/2008 with completion
dependent on availability of HMA product from the supplier on a daily basis.
