A Tribute to Our Founder, Lois Goebel

 Paradise Painters

Paradise Painters are an activity of the Seniors of Paradise. This unique group of seniors meet weekly on Tuesdays at the Paradise Park pavilion to challenge and encourage each others artistic abilities. They enjoy making and sharing their art with each other and others in our community. They come together from many varied backgrounds, interest and abilities.

They use different media including oils, acrylics, water colors, pen & ink, sand and pencils. Their efforts include pieces as small as 4" X 6" to as large as 24" X 36". About once a year they have a month long exhibit of their art in Wailoa Center in Hilo. Three to five times a year they take one of their meetings for a field trip and to share lunch in each others homes. The one thing they all have in common is their SENIOR STATUS.
