PEARL HARVIE

Pearl is originally from Peache River, Alberta Canada. She studied oil painting in Calgary but now prefers to paint landscapes in watercolor. Although she is from Canada, Pearl is not our typical snow bird because she has gotten down to spending only three months of the year on the mainland and the rest in Hawaii. While in Canada she is kept busy, among other things, teaching school superintendents and principals how to evaluate their teachers.

In Hawaii she offers Bed and Breakfast accommodations at her beautiful home in Leilani Estates. The art gang on several occasions has enjoyed a big Canadian breakfast there.

Pearl admits she likes cooking and eating as much as painting, maybe even more. When the Art Group meets on Tuesdays, we always know when it's lunch time because every half hour Pearl asks, "isn't it time to eat now?"

Pearl has been with the Art Group about six years.
